Fog rising off a lake in the early morning, seen from a nearby hill. A small watercolor I painted in response to some of my students complaining that the classroom paint sets were "messy" (the way they had left them, of course). I told them I would do a painting using only the waste from a paintbox. I also wanted to show them that water isn't _always_ blue.
